Donation Day – Help Wren Ave. Elementary and the North Concord Shelter

Drive through Donation Day September 20^th, 2pm – 3pm for Wren Avenue Elementary School and the North Concord Shelter at the First Christian Church, 3039 Willow Pass Rd., Concord 94519. Leave donations in trunk. We will be wearing masks.

Wren Avenue Elementary School: We will be collecting art supplies for this Arts magnet school. Now is a good time to start collecting or purchasing your donations. Here is a list of the items they have requested:

Acrylic paints, beads, buttons, clay, both air dry and modeling, clothes pins, colored pencils, white construction paper, Crayola brand crayons and markers, fabric, any color, baby food size glass jars, paper doilies and paper plates, Q-tips, watercolors (Prang brand) and scissors.

North Concord Shelter: We received an urgent request from the Shelter. They have new people in the program and they still need several items especially additional liquids during the summer and toiletries. Here is a list of items they have requested:

Bottled waters, sodas, juices, sugar packets, creamers and single coffee packets and toiletries such as body lotion, toothpaste, combs, razors, shave cream, deodorant, nail clippers and Emory boards. We also need eyeglasses, (any kind) for the new people.
