THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION PRESENTS THE SERIES:  APPRECIATING THE CAREGIVER

During this annual tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to create awareness of the impact that Alzheimer’s disease has on the Latino/Hispanic community.

My name is Sandra Green with the Alzheimer’s Association. I work mostly with Hispanic/Latino constituents. I know that at this difficult time we are all focusing on Covid-19 cases and prevention, but unfortunately Alzheimer’s disease continues affecting many of our community members and their families. For this reason we are asking that you please share with your parishioners this information. There is always someone who could benefit from our programs and services. Please see attached flyer and jpeg. If you would like more information please contact me at 408-372-9919.
We also provide an ID bracelet for persons with dementia who wander away from the home and a grant for family caregivers who need to take a short break from caregiving.
Thanks a lot. Have a good evening,
