Bay Area wide Interfaith Conversation – postponed until June 10th
June 10, 2018 @ 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm| Free
Dear Bay Area Cooperation Circles,
Thank you to all those who have responded with your feedback regarding the Bay Area Wide Interfaith Conversation, scheduled for Aprill 22nd. You told us that this matters to you, but this particular date — Earth Day !! — conflicts with events that you and your organizations have already planned.
We heard you, and we want your voice present in the room, so we are rescheduling! In fact, we have even planned a two-part series of events that will launch us into building a more deeply collaborative Bay Area interfaith network of organizations, councils, and individuals.
First, please join us on SUNDAY, JUNE 10th from 1:30 – 3:30 pm for Strengthening a Movement; Uniting Bay Area Interfaith Efforts at the Presidio Chapel.
This gathering will be an opportunity to:
(1) Learn about the partnership between URI and ICP and how we can serve you in deepening Bay Area collaborations
(2) Connect to other interfaith leaders
(3) Share your vision for the interfaith movement in the Bay
(4) Experience a participatory design process towards deepening collaboration among interfaith orgs/councils
There is no cost for this event and we encourage you to bring multiple representatives from your organization/council! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to email me at JReinhalter@uri.org
Second, in mid-September we will host a pre-parliament gathering for the Bay Area, offering anyone involved in the interfaith movement in the Bay an opportunity to connect. We will also follow up on the process we initiate during our June gathering. More information is forthcoming, as the agenda will be largely shaped by our dialogue in June.
Thank you for your commitment to this work, and we hope that you will join us and bring your voice to the table in June! We need you.
