Pianist Jeanne Hourez of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music steers us through ocean waters–from placid to tumultuous– of Scriabin’s evocative Sonata-Fantasy, and to ports of call that include selections from Debussy’s Preludes (Book I) and Schubert’s Impromptus, Op. 90. Also on the program, from SFCM’s Pre-College Division:  the Tempestus Trio (Charlotte Wong, piano; Matthew Sakiyama, violin; and Simone Hsu, cello), performing works of Beethoven, Bach, Vieuxtemps, Chopin and more.
