Food Bank Advocacy Team Trainings Begin
April 7 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until May 19, 2021
This year’s cohort will once again be virtual, meeting on Wednesdays beginning March 31st and ending with graduation on May 19th for a total of 8 two-hour sessions. Participants will receive a $25 grocery gift card for each class attended, and a $100 Visa gift card upon graduation.
Preferred qualifications include:
- An interest in ending hunger/poverty and/or lived experience in hunger or poverty
- An interest in learning how to improve their public speaking skills
- An interest in learning about advocacy, California government process and/or the bill/laws process
Technology assistance may be available.
