January 25, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm| $10 – $20
Praised by the San Francisco Chronicle for a “winningly liquid” voice as well as for her “dramatic vividness and vocal flourish,” Santa Fe native Soprano Rena Harms has delighted audiences around the world. From being a 2010 Grand Finalist of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, to prize-winning acclaim in the Marcello Viotti International Vocal Competition in Lausanne, Switzerland, Harms has performed infamous roles such as Mimi in La boheme with the Los Angeles Opera, and Donna Elvira in Mozart’s Don Giovanni with the Seattle Opera, and so many more!
Raised in Sacramento and now residing in the UK, Pianist Anyssa Neumann is praised for the “clarity, charm, and equipoise” of her piano performances, which span solo and collaborative repertoire from the Baroque to the 21st century. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and University of Oxford, Neumann completed a PhD in musicology at King’s College London. Recent highlights include recitals in Rome, Paris, Montreal, Ottawa, Denver, and many performances throughout the Pacific Northwest.
At St. Paul’s, this incredible duo performs selected works of Schoenberg, Strauss, Barber, and Vaughan Williams.
