Pre-Post-Racial America: Spiritual Stories from the Front Lines by Sandhya Rani Jha.
Wednesdays at 4 p.m. (via ZOOM)
Facilitated by Rev. Dr. Fred Weidmann
Begins January 13, 2021

Join us for the next in our series of heartfelt, meaningful, constructive Hillcrest Discussions on Faith and Race. We will be engaging a book that brings matters of race and faith and real life, real people, and real examples of good, constructive community action into conversation with deep biblical truths and deeply held beliefs.

Among the highlight of the series is that the author, a local activist and ordained minister who has worked with both the Interfaith Council of Contra Costa County and the Multifaith Action Coalition, will join us for one of our sessions.

The series is open to all. ZOOM links are circulated weekly. If you are not on the Hillcrest
Church contact list already, please contact hillcrestucc@att.net to be added.

The book, available through all or most book retailers: Sandhya Rani Jha, Pre-Post-Racial
America: Spiritual Stories from the Front Lines (Chalice Press, 2015). If you have any difficulty attaining the book or if purchase price is a barrier, please contact revfred.hillcrest@att.net.
