Rev Kristin Powell is doing her 4 part Sunday series on Ho’oponopono, the Hawaiian practice of forgiveness on July 21, 28, August 3, 11.
Kaleo and Elise Ching will contribute by doing Hawaiian prayers and also lead the congregation in the “Aloha Qigong” form on August 11, at the 9:30 and 11:30 services. They will also teach a class (donations) on the “Aloha Qigong” form from 2 to 4:00 pm on August 11. Description of “Aloha Qigong” — Steeped in the wisdom of Chinese medicine and Hawaiian principles of aloha (love) and lōkahi (oneness), the Aloha Qigong was developed by Kaleo and Elise as they did Qigong prayer in Puna, the Big Island of Hawai’i. It is an embodied movement prayer that cleanses the body, energy, and emotions, then harvests, nurtures and replenishes them with the grace, wisdom, and love of the Divine Source.
