There will be conversations on how your congregation can become more prepared, including:
Congregational Emergency Plans • Security and Intruder Plans • Working with the County, ICCCC and other agencies
Come learn some best practices from other congregations and the Contra Costa County Office of Emergency Services.
Future meetings will be on the fourth Thursday on even months in the same space, including: April 23, June 25, Aug. 27, Oct. 22, No december meeting.
- Is your congregation ready to help your congregants and neighbors in the case of a large-scale emergency?
- Does your congregation already have policies in place about what to do in case of fires, earthquakes, floods or shooters?
- Do you have trained congregants ready to serve with the Red Cross or your City’s CERT teams if your congregation needs to be a site for sheltering others?
