It will be our honor to welcome you to our URI Multiregion platform, Crossborder Cafe. May’s Cafe will be hosted by Spiritual Playdate CC.
Spiritual Playdate CC offers a unique program that supports fun, engaging, social, and emotional learning while building bridges between people and communities of diverse backgrounds.
“Interfaith Peace Playdates: Peace Education for Kids” is a two-day event designed to introduce the methodology of working with children in fostering spiritual dialogue, creating a platform for understanding and communication with a special focus on the “Know Thy Neighbor” interfaith curriculum. After the introductory session on the first day, the second day will focus on the facilitation of work with children in early childhood education using Spiritual Playdate’s curricula and Q&A.
The two-day event will be facilitated by Edwina Cowell, the founding Mother, and director of Spiritual Playdate, a URI Cooperation Circle.
Join us as we explore the importance of incorporating peace education in early childhood education and learn more about facilitation and Spiritual Playdate’s curricula available to parents, teachers, facilitators, and interfaith activists.
