James Thomas Stevens and Aja Couchois Duncan at Alta Mesa Center For the Arts

On October 10th at 4:00pm, the Alta Mesa Center for the Arts is hosting an afternoon reading and discussion with poets James Thomas Stevens and Aja Couchois Duncan. With the event we honor Indigenous People’s Day and support the Sogorea Te’ Land Trust.

Sogorea Te’ Land Trust is “an urban Indigenous women-led land trust that facilitates the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people.”
