An Interfaith online gathering to explore the history, promise and disappointment of Juneteenth:  America’s 2nd Independence Day commemorating the Emancipation Proclamation.

Join religious leaders from the East Bay as we gather to share what Juneteenth means to us this year, and beyond, with:

  • Rev. Dr. Dale Weatherspoon, Easter Hill United Methodist Church, Richmond

  • Brother Sundiata Al Rashid from Lighthouse Mosque, Oakland

  • Sister Rabia Keeble, Qalbu Maryam Women’s Mosque, Oakland

  • Rev. Julius Van Hook, Interfaith Juvenile Chaplain
