Volunteers are needed to make boxes, sort durable goods, pack produce, fill 750 boxes, bag frozen turkeys, and deliver to 12 schools in the Richmond/San Pablo District.
We will be providing food for 350 children and their families to have during the winter break from school, when they don’t have the usual access to breakfast and lunch on the Federal School Meal Program.
You can carpool from Shell Ridge Community Church (200 La Casa Via, Walnut Creek) leaving at 9:00 a.m. or meet us at the Temple.
Please let me know via e-mail what day(s) you will work with usand if you have a truck/SUV that would be available to use.
NO CHILDREN SHOULD BE HUNGRY!!
