Marina Tolstova is holding her second benefit concert supporting the Trinity Center, a navigation center which aids the homeless in Walnut Creek. Marina’s last concert, “Melody of a Woman’s Soul” was a huge success, and we look forward to another great event to help the homeless in our community. This August, Marina performs her “Ave Maria” program with other guest performers and accompanists. Prior to the concert, please join us for dinner including an elegant buffet with both savory and dessert appetizers. Wine and other drinks are included.

Marina is a graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music in Russia with a Masters Degree in Music. As a member of St. Petersburg Chamber Choir she toured extensively in France, Spain, Norway, Denmark, Holland, Poland, Germany, and Italy, where she performed at the Vatican and met Pope John Paul II. A gifted Soprano, Marina enjoys performing in concert with musicians Temirzhan Yerzanov, Tatiana Scott, Tetyana Goodhart, Dwight Stone, Tanya Heeb and others. She worked personally with San Francisco Symphony Director Michael Tilson Thomas on the Russian Music Festival. Marina specializes in teaching piano and voice in her music studio “Magic of Music” in Walnut Creek and has been a member of the Music Teachers Association of California from 2001 and Performing Arts Society. Currently, Marina is the Creative Art Director of the St. Paul’s Concert Series production team. For dinner tickets, visit https://trinitycenterwc.networkforgood.com/events/6126-avemaria.
