Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir presents “Together We Sing”: a free finale concert for the first International Interfaith Gospel Choir Conference

“Together We Sing” is the finale concert for the first ever International Interfaith Gospel Music Conference, presented by the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir and hosted by Patrick Landeza. This concert is free to the public and will feature the premiere of a new work by legendary gospel composer, Edwin Hawkins whose song “Oh, Happy Day” shaped the sound of contemporary and popular gospel music. Relish in the joyful noise of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel and Community choirs under the direction of Terrance Kelly, as well as visiting choirs from Kenya, France, Denmark, Canada, and the Conference Mass choir of over 350 voices. Guest soloists Calvin B. Rhone and Ashling “Biscuit” Cole will sing from the bottom of their souls and, together with the many choir voices, are sure to bring an experience like none other.
