SURJ CCC – Racial Inequality In Contra Costa Criminal & Juvenile Justice System

| FreeThe Contra Costa Racial Justice Coalition (CCRJC) is a coalition of organizations and individuals committed to eliminating racial inequalities in CCC. Speaker Melvin Willis, a member of the CCRJC, a Richmond City Council member and a Community Organizer with ACCE (Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment) will share how the CCRJC has been instrumental in getting the County Board of Supervisors to investigate and eliminate disparities in the criminal and juvenile justice systems. And there is much more work to do! Come learn what SURJ members can do to support the CC Racial Justice Coalition.
