Temple Beth Hillel, Richmond: Purim Carnival and Raffle
Sunday, March 4, 2018, 12:30 – 3:00 p.m
Wear costumes and masks and bring your noisemakers to Temple Beth Hillel’s festive Purim Carnival, a fun-filled afternoon celebrating  freedom from religious persecution.

Along with singing  Purim songs and reading the Megillah–the biblical story of Esther, a Jewish girl who marries the Persian king, and  ultimately saves the Jews from extinction —there will be activities, crafts, games, and prizes for kids of all ages. Home-baked goods, traditional hamentaschen (a three-cornered, fruit-filled pastry), and a appetizing lunch will be available. A 25 cent raffle ticket will buy you a chance at the Grand Prize: A $250 Visa Gift Card.

Open to the Community. Admission is Free.
