Violins of Hope: A journey of heroism, healing and humanity – San Francisco

On International Holocaust Day and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, Avshalom Weinstein the cofounder of Violins of Hope whose studio is in Turkey will talk about the 20 years he and his father have devoted to locating and restoring lost violins the Holocaust. He lost 400 members of his family in the Holocaust. Violins of Hopeaims to address the root causes of hatred an bigotry and promote healing and bridge building in response to contemporary issues.
