We are pleased to announce the I4C Annual Meeting will be held on October 8th at Beth Chaim Congregation in Danville.  Rather than organizing both a fundraising dinner and a dinner in connection with the Annual Meeting, the Governing Board decided to combine the two this year. Consistent with our long-standing tradition, the Annual Meeting will feature a potluck dinner.  However, if preparing a dish is challenging for you, please come anyway – there is always plenty of food!!

We would like to feature a silent auction at the Annual Meeting on October 8th.  We held a silent auction last year at a special fundraising dinner.  It proved successful – People enjoyed donating goods and services, and it was fun to bid against each other on the items being sold!

This is the link for the 2023 I4C Annual Meeting Potluck & Silent Auction:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/409084EA5AB28ABFF2-2023  where you can rsvp and/or sign up for a food dish or silent auction donation.

We will be voting on updated Bylaws at this meeting, so we encourage you to take a look at the proposed update to our bylaws from the ones adopted at the Nov. 10, 2019, when we last updated them.  Here are the major changes:

  • Expands the Elected Council to 40,
  • Deleted Spring meetings,
  • Allows for video conferencing for our online meetings,
  • Changed votes to majority rather than two-thirds,
  • Deleted references to Winter Nights and
  • Changed all references of “Board of Directors“ to “Governing Board.”

Please download the file here (Bylaws 9.11.23) to peruse it if you’d like, as we will be voting on this at the annual meeting on October 8th at Beth Chaim Congregation.
