Nurturing the Beloved Community Retreat now online Sunday, Nov. 7th from 3-6 pm (no dinner)!

Third in a 2021 series of four quarterly retreats for everyone, from students to older people of any particular faith or life philosophy, to those with an Interfaith spirituality.

Led by Rev. Kamal Hassan, Pastor of Sojourner Truth Presbyterian Church in Richmond, CA. This month we will explore Black Church conceptions of the Beloved Community.

Readings will be shared before the retreat.

This retreat will explore Islamic conceptions of the Beloved Community and creating an anti-racist faith communities, and the relationship of Malcolm X with Dr. King and Howard Thurman.  Readings will be shared before the retreat.
