Reimagine Mental Health Care Conference

hosted by Putnam Clubhouse
Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 9am – 5:30pm

Due to the current pandemic, Putnam Clubhouse is unable to hold our in-person gala. Instead we have created an exciting virtual conference that will rival the fun and educational experience of our past events.

Please join us on Thursday the 27th of August, for our 13th annual event: ‘Reimagining Mental Health Care’

With a variety of services and supports, people with mental health concerns or psychiatric disabilities can and do thrive in their communities. Unfortunately, many Americans lack access to the services and supports they need and want. For those who receive services, it is often only after an extended period of struggling and crisis that services and supports become available.

The current pandemic demonstrates how critical it is to have a comprehensive mental health system of care. In reality, a mental health crisis has been brewing for decades, but the pandemic brings to light the need for increased mental health education and resources. Our presenters will address some of these challenges while focusing on solutions as together, we “Reimagine Mental Health Care’.

We’ve planned an engaging collection of sessions, including individual and panel presentations with question and answer discussions by educational and motivational speakers.

SOME OF OUR PRESENTERS INCLUDE:
Plenary Keynote Presenter: Ashwin Vasan, M.D., PhD. President and CEO, Fountain House, NY;
