Come with your friends and family to our Social Justice Fair organized in conjunction with NAMI Contra Costa on Saturday, February 19th from 1:00 – 4:30 PM. The event will be held in Kairos Hall, generously offered by Danville Congregational Church, with tabling in an outdoor setting (weather permitting) in the church courtyard. We will continue to build community by hearing from both national and local organizations that are trying to make our society more humane. Topic areas include addressing racial inequalities in the criminal legal system, empowering unhoused residents, supporting people post-incarceration, inequalities in access to mental health support, and other ways we can address the roots of public safety in our county. There will be various ways to participate. The first half of the day will be more informative and will feature presentations by the organizations  listed below. From 3:00 PM onwards we will have short introductions and tabling by local (San Ramon – Danville – Alamo – Walnut Creek) community organizations covering a broad range of focus areas and approaches as well as a collective art project for our upcoming civic actions on March 4th and March 8th! Please join us and help build the beloved community!
